Education
We believe that education is key to development, especially in an underdeveloped country and we are sad seeing how many children, leaders of tomorrow are at home, not attending school. Among those are a considerable number of girls, and we believe girls should get an education; otherwise, the risk of not having well-balanced communities is high.
Primary healthcare
Several years in a row, SAFU volunteers have traveled to villages in Togo to support humanitarian efforts, providing healthcare free of charge via pop-up field clinics. Thousands of people have received necessary care through these clinics stocked with donated supplies and run by volunteer medical professionals. Many different conditions such as malaria, blood pressure issues, diabetes management, and women’s health complaints or severe complaints such as dislocations, hernias, and open wounds have been treated by seasoned, volunteer medical professionals through SAFU. It's only with the help of volunteers and donations that it's possible for the nonprofit to bring this life-changing care to locals in Togo.
