Together, we can achieve anything.
SAFU is a small nonprofit, non-governmental organization based in Togo, Africa that operates solely on thin collections gathered by a few volunteer members and rare donations from outside of the region-- Most SAFU volunteers are local students and jobless young people. Donating money is so easy for many folks in places like the United States or Canada, but in Togo although there is a strong will to give, it is like asking people to donate water in the Sahara.
To cover basic operating needs, SAFU seeks support for:
To reach these aims, SAFU volunteers work hard and donate money they take from their own pockets or activities. If the nonprofit organization received the necessary support, little by little, it could fulfill its goal of helping Togolese people.
To cover basic operating needs, SAFU seeks support for:
- Telephone and Internet (communication) during the year.
- Website planning, creation, and hosting fees
- Transportation for child sponsorship programs
- School kits that support less fortunate children, orphans, and (especially) girls in school
- Hired experts to inspect and build the ready, fundable projects SAFU has at hand
- Future plans to become more self-sustainable. For example: Enable SAFU to support its own medical clinic
To reach these aims, SAFU volunteers work hard and donate money they take from their own pockets or activities. If the nonprofit organization received the necessary support, little by little, it could fulfill its goal of helping Togolese people.
